Inspect at the Speed of Your Launch Cadence

Launch cadence is accelerating. Inspection cannot be the bottleneck. ATLAS autonomously inspects launch vehicle structures, pad infrastructure, and ground support equipment with six sensor modalities — built by engineers who know what spaceflight demands.

Launch Cadence Is Outpacing Inspection Capacity

Launch rates are climbing — SpaceX alone exceeds 100 launches per year. Reusable vehicles require rapid post-flight inspection and turnaround. Composite and exotic material structures demand multi-modal NDT that visual inspection cannot provide. Launch pad infrastructure endures extreme thermal and acoustic stress cycles, and thermal protection systems require time-consuming, subjective manual assessment. The inspection process designed for a dozen launches per year cannot support a dozen launches per month.

SPACEX HERITAGE

Born from SpaceX Engineering. Built for Launch Operations.

ATLAS was co-founded by Nick Bosticco, a veteran of the SpaceX Raptor 3 engine program. The platform understands the tolerances, materials, and urgency of spaceflight operations.

Hyperspectral imaging (200+ bands, 400-2,500nm) detects composite and thermal protection system degradation invisible to cameras. Dual-LiDAR (300,000 points/second, 0.5mm precision) maps structural deformation from launch and re-entry loads. Thermal LWIR identifies heat damage patterns. All processing runs on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge computer — delivering results at the pad, not hours later from a remote lab.

KEY BENEFITS

Built for the Demands of Spaceflight

15 min

Rapid Turnaround Inspection

15-20 minutes per vehicle section vs. hours of manual assessment. Inspect launch vehicles between flights at the pace reusable rocketry demands.

200+

Composite and TPS Expertise

200+ hyperspectral bands, 400-2,500nm. Detect delamination, heat shield degradation, and material property changes in composites and thermal protection systems.

300K

Sub-Millimeter Structural Mapping

300K pts/sec LiDAR at 0.5mm precision. Map launch-induced deformation, re-entry stress damage, and dimensional changes across vehicle structures.

275

Edge Processing at the Pad

NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, 275 TOPS of AI processing. Real-time analysis at the launch site. No data transfer delays. No cloud dependency. Results in minutes, not hours.
