Why We Started Arachnid
Manual inspection is the weakest link in critical asset maintenance. Aircraft, defense platforms, pipelines, and launch vehicles depend on human inspectors using decades-old methods — flashlights, magnifying glasses, and sampling-based spot checks that cover 60-70% of a surface on a good day. The other 30-40% is a bet.
We started Arachnid Systems to eliminate that bet. Our founding team — from Apple's FaceID sensor program, SpaceX's Raptor 3 engine, and Nokia's global network infrastructure — saw the same pattern across industries: critical inspections performed by overstretched technicians with single-sense tools, generating subjective results.

Ben Perez
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Former Apple FaceID sensor team. Ben led sensor integration programs at Apple, developing the depth-sensing technology that shipped in hundreds of millions of devices. At Arachnid, he directs company strategy, customer acquisition, and the product roadmap.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Former Nokia, Rakuten, and T-Mobile. Priyan built and scaled network infrastructure operations across three of the world's largest telecommunications companies. At Arachnid, he leads operations, partner development, and go-to-market execution.
Nick Bosticco
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Former SpaceX Raptor 3 engine program. Nick engineered components for the most advanced rocket engine ever built. At Arachnid, he leads hardware engineering, sensor integration, and platform architecture.
Stephen Sopko
ENGINEERING
Former Oracle. Stephen brings enterprise software engineering depth from one of the world's largest database and cloud infrastructure companies. At Arachnid, he develops ATLAS Connect software systems and data pipelines.
